Holy shit, this guy is a complete hack. He’s terrible at design, worse at bodywork, and even worse yet at paint.

That grey abomination started the episode looking like this:

A perfectly nice looking Econoline, absolutely ruined by a dipshit with a sawzall. Here’s the final product (the red one):

That paint has horrendous orange peel, terrible masking, laughably bad upholstery, and the grille is literally just black expanded metal.

I’ve never built a custom car, but I know that I could do it better than this asshole.

I’m not one for the custom car scene as I like the way cars look stock or with just a body kit.

Never been into the whole cut off 3/4 of the roof chop the bed in half, cut out 70% of the doors and shit and I usually think that chopped up classics like so look awful

But who am I too judge

I can get behind some subtle stuff. A slight chop or sectioning of the body can look really great, but this was neither.

That would have looked really cool in 1977. This guy seems to be stuck in the past, both in terms of design, and technology.

The final product reminds me of the future retro concepts from the late 90s in a bad way. I think the headlights bug me most since they’re rectangles on such a rounded vehicle. But, it’s not about what we think but what the owner thinks. If they’re happy that’s all that matters.
